Find a safe place to talk and learn more about Mental Health and Disorders!
My purpose is to not only speak up about mental health, but I also want to create a safe place for kids my age and younger to talk. I also want people to understand what others might be going through, and learn how to help them!

Mental health is encompasses emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It effects how we think and act, which can determine how we handle stress. As problems in our lives appear, our mental health can decline. This can result in an mental illness which some of the commons one include mood and anxiety disorders.
It is hard to understand what might be going on in someone's life, and talking is the first step to understanding. Never push someone to talk, but be their shoulder and tell them that you are here whenever they are ready.
A safe adult is someone that you can trust, and talk too. Finding that person, can truly help that person strive to get better. You can't do everything for someone at a young age, but adults will know what next step is best for the teenager.
Let them know you are there for them and you will always listen to them. Show that you care, and that you want to help them anyway you can. Make sure they know how much people love and care for them.

Mental Health has been a big part of my life, I was diagnosed with anxiety almost a year ago. I have been on two different types of anxiety medication. One of them didn't work and it actually caused my anxiety to be worse. School is the place that my heart races, my stomach tightens up, and I can't breathe. We still haven't figured out why, I struggle so much at school. My anxiety isn't just at school but with everyday life. I worry a lot and can't focus. I understand what you are going through and I am still working to get my anxiety managed. You are not alone!
